Siemens Energy in the Netherlands is seeking a Senior Project Manager with a sales focus in our Gas Services division. You will own the full project lifecycle from initiation to closure, manage budgets, uphold quality, and guide project teams through complex challenges to deliver on time and within scope.

You will identify risks, coordinate with vendors, report status to stakeholders, and negotiate long-term service agreements or O&M contracts. Dutch and English are required; German is a plus.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering; PMP preferred.
5+ years of extensive experience in general project management, preferably with sales management experience.
Strong influencing skills to lead teams and communicate with stakeholders.
Experience in energy or industrial services; rotating equipment knowledge is a plus.
Expertise in PM methodologies, risk management, budgeting, and quality assurance.
Dutch and English proficient; German a plus.
Broad commercial and contractual understanding.

Responsibilities

Plan, organize, and control all project phases from initiation to closure.
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and obstacles to guarantee timely completion.
Manage project implementation and closure, coordinating vendor tasks and QA deliverables.
Monitor and report on cost, timing, and staffing to stakeholders.
Serve as the primary contact for stakeholders and manage communications.
Offer, negotiate and close LTSA, O&M contracts, and related customer agreements.

You will lead comprehensive project lifecycle management, overseeing everything from planning and execution to closure. Your expertise will shine as you manage budgets, uphold quality standards, and guide project teams through complex challenges. With a focus on independent delivery, you will proactively identify risks and obstacles, ensuring projects are completed on time and within scope. How You’ll Make an Impact

You will plan, organize, and control all project phases from initiation to closure, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule, and budget.
Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and obstacles to guarantee timely completion and adherence to objectives.
Manage project implementation and closure processes, integrating vendor tasks and reviewing deliverables for quality assurance.
Monitor and report on project status, including cost, timing, and staffing, to keep all relevant stakeholders informed.
Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholders, effectively managing relationships and communications throughout the project lifecycle.
Offer, negotiate and close Long Term Service Agreements, O&M Contracts, Open Market Opportunities, Upgrades and Extensions or any other customer related agreements.

What You Bring

Mechanical or Electrical Engineering Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience, ideally coupled with a Project Management (PMP) certification.
With at least 5 years of extensive experience in general project management, preferably with sales management experience, you have a proven track record of managing projects independently.
Your strong influencing skills enable you to lead teams and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
Experience in the energy or industrial services sector is highly desirable, enhancing your understanding of the industry. Knowledge and experience in rotating equipment will be considered an asset.
You possess expertise in project management methodologies, risk management, budgeting, and quality assurance.
Dutch and English in both written & spoken is required, German will be an asset.
Broad commercial and contractual understanding.
