Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine seeks a Senior Project Engineer in Leiden to lead medium-to-high complexity capital projects, bridging engineering disciplines with project management. You will ensure quality under GxP and align stakeholders across functions, including external firms and internal teams.

The role requires a 5–7 year engineering background and FPX/PM training, plus a VCA-VOL qualification and familiarity with GMP and Change Control. On-site presence in Leiden is expected.

Qualifications

• Education & Experience: Bachelor's or Master's in engineering with 5–7 years of relevant work experience.
• Project Management: FPX Project Lead Training or equivalent formal project management training.
• Safety & Standards: VCA-VOL qualification/diploma.
• GxP/GMP: Solid familiarity with GxP / GMP requirements and Change Control procedures.

Responsibilities

• Engineering ownership as a Core Team Member on medium-to-high complexity projects.
• Translate scopes into RFQ packages and review drawings to ensure compliance with standards.
• Stakeholder, contractor, and cross-functional team management across engineering.
• Execute Change Control and participate in Management of Change processes.
• Lead end-to-end project management from feasibility to closure.
