Bennet & Boss is seeking a Senior Project Engineer - EX Lead to drive Ex compliance and project delivery in challenging oil and gas projects in the Netherlands. The role requires strong leadership and a proven track record managing complex technical and administrative activities within budget and schedule constraints.

You will oversee Ex compliance across engineering, procurement, construction, and QA, coordinate interfaces between disciplines, and report monthly Ex matrices.

Responsabilidades

• Overall management of Ex compliance activities throughout the project.
• Surveillance & support of Ex activities (Engineering + Supply Chain + Construction).
• Interfaces between disciplines/project phases regarding Ex compliance on the project.
• Issuance of the monthly Ex project matrix and dashboard and their accuracy.
• Delivery and maintenance of the project Ex assurance plan and project Ex specification.
• Prepare the project Ex matrix with the Ex project data-coordinator for all follow-up and reporting.
• Coordinate with Area Project Managers for construction to ensure Ex requirements are understood and counted in bids and evaluations.
• Coordinate with Project Procurement Managers for Supply Chain to ensure Ex requirements are understood and accounted for supplier submissions and bid evaluations.
• Ensure Ex requirements are part of the sub-contractor contracts and exhibits.
• Manage supplier Ex Compliance surveillance (QA at project level) and address deficiencies or clarifications.
• Coordinate with Construction QA and Site Ex Lead to incorporate Ex requirements in subcontractor documents.

As a Senior Project Engineer - EX Lead, you play a pivotal role in the successful delivery of complex projects. With a minimum of 10 years of experience, you are responsible for overseeing and coordinating all technical and administrative project activities, ensuring the project objectives are met efficiently and within budget and time constraints. This senior role requires strong leadership and in-depth expertise across multiple project disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the overall management of Ex compliance activities throughout the project.
• Responsible for surveillance & support of Ex activities (Engineering + Supply Chain + Construction).
• In charge of interfaces between disciplines/project phases regarding Ex compliance on the project.
• Accountable for the issuance of the monthly Ex project matrix and dashboard and their accuracy.
• Responsible for delivery and maintenance of the project Ex assurance plan and project Ex specification.
• Prepares the project Ex matrix with the Ex project data-coordinator, ensuring this tool covers all follow up and reporting required by project management team during all project phases.
• Coordinates with Area Project Managers for construction to ensure that Ex requirements are understood and accounted for contractor/yard proposal submissions and bid evaluations.
• Coordinates with Project Procurement Managers for Supply Chain to ensure that Ex requirements are understood and accounted for supplier proposal submissions and bid evaluations.
• Ensures that same Ex requirements are part of the sub-contractor contract and relevant exhibits.
• Manages the supplier Ex Compliance surveillance (quality assurance at project level), capturing deficiencies or clarifications required by project reviews based on inspection reports.
• Coordinates with Construction Quality Managers and Site Ex Lead to ensure that the Ex-requirements as specified in the project Ex specifications and equipment specifications are adequately incorporated by subcontractor/yard(s) in their relevant documents.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent qualification
