Job summary

Amber Implants, a fast-growing medical technology company in The Hague, seeks a Senior Production Engineer to coordinate and improve manufacturing processes. You will support NPI, design transfer activities, and work with suppliers to ensure quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance.

The role requires a university engineering degree, 4–7 years in manufacturing/NPI, and fluency in English. Office-based position in The Hague with international collaboration.

Qualifications

• University degree in engineering or related technical field.
• 4–7 years of experience in manufacturing, NPI, or production engineering environments.
• Experience in medical device manufacturing.
• Fluency in English; Italian is a plus.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Experience with ERP systems is preferred.
• Familiarity with ISO 13485/regulatory requirements in the medical device industry.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and map manufacturing processes across the full production chain to identify bottlenecks and risks.
• Maintain and control manufacturing documentation (DMR, BOM, plans, work instructions) and support quality records.
• Monitor process capability and support SPC and quality control methods.
• Support supplier performance management and supplier readiness with Amber Implants’ partners.
• Assist in product industrialization, including design transfer activities and new product introductions.
• Collaborate with QA, Design and Supply Chain to ensure regulatory compliance.
