In this pivotal role, you will ensure the smooth flow of products from suppliers and manufacturers to clinical sites and, soon, to commercial markets. You will balance strategy with hands‑on execution—overseeing planning, procurement, logistics, customs, and vendor management—while ensuring compliance with ISO 13485, FDA QSR, and EU MDR. This is a unique opportunity to join a fast-growing medtech company at a critical stage, where your work will directly impact the success of our clinical trials and U.S./EU product launches.

Key Responsibilities
Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Supplier Management
  • Develop and manage the end-to-end supply chain in a lean, outsourced setup.
  • Build and manage relationships with contract manufacturers, suppliers, and service providers.
  • Issue and follow up on purchase orders, track supplier invoices, and ensure accurate, timely deliveries.
  • Monitor supplier performance through KPIs (on-time delivery, lead times, quality, cost) and drive continuous improvement.
  • Manage and improve supply chain monitoring processes.
  • Negotiate and establish OEM/private label supply agreements with partner companies whose products will be branded under Amber Implants’ name, ensuring quality, compliance, and commercial viability.
  • Lead the selection, setup, and daily management of the ERP/MRP system.
  • Ensure the ERP reflects supply chain flows (suppliers, POs, manufacturing, logistics, warehouses, hospitals/clinical sites).
  • Work with 3PL providers to integrate warehousing and shipping data.
  • Oversee UDI/device traceability across the supply chain.
  • Collaborate with QA/RA to ensure ERP setup complies with ISO 13485, FDA UDI, and EU MDR traceability requirements.
  • Support Finance with ERP integration for purchasing, invoicing, and cost tracking.
Logistics & Distribution
  • Coordinate daily operations with 3PL partners for warehousing, transport, and distribution in the United States.
  • Ensure full product traceability from supplier through manufacturing to hospitals and clinical sites.
  • Manage import/export activities, including customs clearance and regulatory documentation, to guarantee compliant and timely deliveries.

  • Support Finance with ERP integration for purchasing, invoicing, and cost tracking.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 4–8 years’ experience in supply chain/operations in medical devices or life sciences.
  • Experience with outsourced manufacturing and international logistics.
  • Familiarity with ISO 13485 and FDA QSR is strongly preferred.
  • Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a fast‑paced, resource‑constrained environment.
