Job summary

Catawiki, Amsterdam-based, is seeking a Senior Product Manager to own a meaningful part of the buyer journey. You will lead a cross-functional team across Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing and Commercial to improve discovery, ranking and personalization through AI-enabled experiences.

The role requires at least five years of product management experience, strong judgment and a bias for data-driven decision making.

Qualifications

• Minimum five years of product management experience in consumer ecommerce or marketplaces.
• Experience owning end-to-end customer journeys or broad product areas.
• Strong product and design judgment for intuitive, high-quality experiences.
• Experience with funnels, cohorts, experiments and performance metrics.
• Extensive experience designing, running and analyzing A/B tests.

Responsibilities

• Set and communicate a clear product vision, strategy and roadmap for a meaningful part of the buyer journey.
• Own measurable outcomes across discovery, engagement, conversion and retention.
• Use behavioral data, research and commercial insight to identify opportunities.
• Turn ambiguous customer problems into hypotheses, prototypes and executable plans.
• Lead initiatives from discovery through experimentation, launch and scaling.
• Define success metrics, analyze funnel and cohort performance and plan experiments.
• Design, run and evaluate A/B tests to inform decisions.
• Collaborate with data scientists and ML engineers to improve recommendations and personalization.
• Partner with design to create simple, coherent customer experiences.
• Use AI to prototype early and accelerate learning.
• Identify new AI-enabled buyer experiences solving meaningful problems.
• Communicate strategy and performance clearly to senior stakeholders.
