Job summary

Mars in Oud-Beijerland, Netherlands, seeks a Senior Technical Project Lead to steer critical renovation projects from concept to global launch. You will act as a technical leader, mentoring peers and guiding product solutions across a diverse network of regional partners.

You will shape our portfolio with consumer insights, lead cross-functional teams, and ensure robust formulation development through prototyping while aligning with the Five Principles.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of significant experience in product development with a track record of translating consumer and technical insights into formulations.
• Mastery in flavor enhancement formulation and complex product renovations; led multiple projects from concept to completion.
• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Food Science, Food Engineering, or Food Chemistry, with hands-on experience.
• Substantial project management experience with cross-functional team leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop product solutions from concepts aligned with consumer benefits and global strategy.
• Lead the product development workstream, manage delivery to time, cost and quality while influencing stakeholders.
• Drive formulation development through prototyping with a consumer-centric mindset and transfer designs into specifications.
• Manage risks within the development workstream, acting as technical lead on renovation projects to meet business objectives.
