Job summary

DeWarmte zoekt een Senior Product Designer om UX en UI te sturen over meerdere digitale producten zoals klantportaal en app. Je werkt nauw samen met Product, Engineering en andere stakeholders om een consistente, gebruiksvriendelijke ervaring te leveren, van aankoop tot installatie en dagelijks gebruik.

Je hebt 5+ jaar ervaring in productdesign, beheerst design systemen en Figma, en gebruikt AI-tools om workflows te versnellen.

Qualifications

• 5+ jaar ervaring in productdesign, met UI en UX-ervaring.
• Sterk portfolio van end-to-end productontwerp.
• Ervaring met bouwen en onderhouden van design systems.
• Expert in Figma.
• Gebruik van AI-tools in dagelijkse ontwerpflow.
• In staat zelfstandig gebruikersonderzoek uit te voeren.
• Effectieve samenwerking in multidisciplinaire teams.
• Vloeiende Engelse taal.
• Beschikbaar voor fulltime werk.
• Kantoorervaring in Den Haag of Utrecht vereist min. 3 dagen per week.

Responsibilities

• Bezit van UX en UI over meerdere digitale producten.
• Vertalen van klant- en bedrijfsbehoeften naar intuïtieve ervaringen.
• Ontwerpen van journeys, user flows, wireframes, prototypes en nette interfaces.
• Ontwerpen van hoogwaardige gebruikersinterfaces in Figma.
• Nauw samenwerken met Product Owners en Ontwikkelaars gedurende de productlevenscyclus.
• Valideren van concepten via gebruikersonderzoek en usability tests waar gepast.
• Onderhouden en doorlopend verbeteren van ons design-systeem.
• Gebruik maken van moderne AI-tools om onderzoek, ideevorming, prototyping en contentcreatie te versnellen.
• Samen design best practices binnen het bedrijf introduceren.

Senior Product Designer (UX/UI)

At DeWarmte, we're making sustainable heating accessible for everyone. Our mission is simple: help households get off gas with smart, affordable heat pumps. To make that happen, we're not only building great hardware, we're also creating digital products that make the customer experience effortless from purchase to installation and beyond.

We're growing fast, which means you'll have the opportunity to make a real impact. We're looking for a Senior Product Designer who takes ownership, loves solving complex problems, and wants to help shape the future of our digital products.

Your impact

As our Senior Product Designer, you'll work across a growing portfolio of digital products, including our customer portal, customer app, internal tools, and more. Together, these products support the entire lifecycle of a DeWarmte heat pump: from purchase and installation to daily use and system management.

You'll define intuitive, industry-leading user experiences based on customer insights, while helping build a consistent visual language across all our digital products. You'll work closely with Product, Engineering, and other stakeholders to create products that customers, installers, and partners use every day.

As a scale-up, you'll also have plenty of room to improve the way we work, introduce new ideas, and help raise the bar for design across the company.

What you'll do

• Own the UX and UI design across multiple digital products
• Translate customer and business needs into intuitive user experiences
• Create user journeys, user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and polished interfaces
• Design high-quality user interfaces in Figma
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Developers throughout the product lifecycle
• Validate concepts through user research and usability testing where appropriate
• Maintain and continuously improve our design system
• Use modern AI tools to accelerate research, ideation, prototyping, content creation, and design workflows
• Help establish design best practices across the company

What we’re looking for

You'll thrive in this role if you:

• Have 5+ years of professional product design experience (including 5+ years of UI and at least 3 years of UX design)
• Have a strong portfolio showcasing end-to-end product design work
• Have experience building and maintaining design systems
• Are an expert in Figma
• Already use AI tools as part of your daily design workflow
• Are comfortable conducting independent user research
• Are comfortable working with multidisciplinary teams, with an emphasis on translating technical requirements to UX/UI design
• Can translate technical requirements into intuitive user experiences
• Work proactively and independently while collaborating effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Are fluent in English
• Are available full-time
• Can work from our offices in The Hague or Utrecht at least 3 days per week

Nice to have

• Dutch language skills
• German language skills
• Experience designing consumer mobile applications
• Experience working in a fast-growing startup or scale-up
