Job summary

Baker Hughes in the Netherlands is seeking a Lead Procurement Specialist (Experienced Buyer) to manage the end-to-end sourcing of goods and services for regional projects. You will lead RFQs, negotiate contracts, place and follow up on POs, monitor supplier performance, and ensure on-time delivery while collaborating with local teams.

Fluent Dutch and English plus SAP or Oracle experience are essential. The role requires independent work and data-driven supplier management to support CAPEX

Qualifications

Min. 5 years of sourcing/procurement experience in Oil & Gas or energy sectors.
Bachelor's degree preferred with technical background.
Fluent in Dutch and English.
Experience with SAP or Oracle essential.
Experience leading procurement activities and driving value.

Responsibilities

Take care of RFQs and contact suppliers for competitive quotations.
Place and follow up on Purchase Orders and manage supplier relationships for PO execution.
Ensure on-time delivery and monitor status of goods and services.
Negotiate contracts, manage contract amendments, and supplier performance.
Report supplier performance and non-conformities; handle data gathering and analysis.
Support stakeholders on milestones, capex POs, and equipment specifications.
