All About Expats is seeking a Senior Process Engineer / Senior Mechanical Engineer in Utrecht, Netherlands. The role focuses on leading engineers in sustainable energy projects, overseeing renewable installations, and driving adoption of new technologies.

The candidate should have a Bachelor's in Mechanical, Process, or Energy Engineering, with strong leadership and extensive renewal energy experience, particularly biomass and district heating. English proficiency is essential, Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required in Mechanical, Process, or Energy Engineering.
• Experience with renewable energy technologies, especially biomass and district heating.
• Proven leadership abilities and experience supervising engineering teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of engineers in sustainable energy projects.
• Oversee operation and optimization of renewable energy installations (biomass plants, district heating, STEGs).
• Drive integration of new sustainable technologies and methods.
• Ensure safety, environmental sustainability and efficiency across projects.
• Lead maintenance and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinaries to advance energy production.
