Job summary

ASM is seeking a Senior Engineer II, Systems Engineering (Senior / Principal Control Engineer) in Almere. You will lead control engineering efforts, especially heater control for VF applications, and drive improvements in control algorithms for multi-zone heating, while aligning hardware requirements with engineering teams.

Responsibilities include close cooperation with electrical, software, process, mechanical engineering and common engineering.

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in control engineering for mechatronic systems.
• Strong communication and analytical capabilities.
• Fluency in English required; international collaboration.
• Experience with mechanical engineering is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead control engineering initiatives, especially heater control for VF applications.
• Improve control algorithms and models for multi-zone heating.
• Translate control requirements into hardware specs for heating elements.
• Develop simplified control environment operation for VF heating.
• Collaborate with electrical, software, process, mechanical and common engineering teams.
