Job summary

ASM in Almere, Netherlands, seeks a senior control engineer to lead control engineering for mechatronic systems, focusing on multi-zone heating. You will refine control algorithms, translate requirements into hardware specs, and enable streamlined operation of the control environment.

You will collaborate with electrical, software, process, mechanical and common engineering teams, report to the Director Hardware Engineering, and contribute to innovation in semiconductor devices and smart heating

Qualifications

• At least 10 years in control engineering for mechatronic systems.
• Experience in mechanical engineering preferred.
• Hands-on working on control systems.
• Good communication skills.
• Analytical skills and ability to dive deep into details.
• Fluent in English.

Responsibilities

• Lead control engineering for mechatronic systems, with emphasis on heater control for VF applications.
• Continuously improve control algorithms and models for multi-zone heating.
• Translate control requirements into hardware requirements for heating element design.
• Develop a streamlined operation of the control environment for VF heating.
• Collaborate closely with electrical, software, process, mechanical, and common engineering teams.
• Report to Director Hardware Engineering.

• Leads control engineering especially, but not limited to, heater control for VF applications
• Continuously improving control algorithms and model for muti zone heating
• Transferring control requirements into hardware requirements for heating element design
• Developing a simplified operation of control environment set up for VF heating
• Close cooperation with electrical, software, process, mechanical engineering and common engineering
• Reports to Director Hardware Engineering

Specification
