Job summary

Partner Company in the Netherlands is seeking an experienced Associate Director, Project Management to lead the global Project Management function within a clinical research setting.

You will drive strategic delivery models, mentor PMs, optimize resources, and ensure sponsor satisfaction while maintaining compliance with GCP/ICH guidelines. This role supports growth and continuous improvement across multiple trials.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a field relevant to clinical project management or clinical research.
• PMP certification is considered an asset.
• 7+ years of combined experience in clinical research and project management.
• Demonstrated leadership and people-management experience.
• Strong understanding of GCP, ICH guidelines, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for the Project Management function and align with organizational strategy.
• Lead PMs, oversee recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations.
• Partner with Project Directors for staffing, scope, timelines, and budgets.
• Oversee portfolio delivery, sponsor relationships, timelines, and quality standards.
• Monitor KPIs, drive process improvement, and standardize workflows.
• Mentor PMs and develop future leaders within the team.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with senior leadership and internal departments.
• Ensure use of CTMS and technology platforms to support delivery.
• Support audit readiness and regulatory compliance as needed.
• Advise on risk management and proactive decision-making.
