Job summary

WeTravel is seeking a Lead Product Manager to own our checkout and monetization. You will report to our incoming Head of Payment Products & Monetization. The role is senior IC with impact across checkout across currencies and payment methods.

The Amsterdam office hosts the entire Product Org and much of the Engineering team; ambitious, globally scaled monetization initiatives will be your focus across 40+ currencies and 30+ payment methods.

Qualifications

• Deep product management experience owning real outcomes.
• 10+ years in product management ideal; 7+ years minimum.
• Broad ownership of checkout across multiple phases of its evolution.
• System thinking to create a flexible and cohesive checkout system.
• Combination of analytical thinking and UX insights to optimize checkout.
• Expertise in conversion across funnels on both mobile and desktop.
• Track record of improving monetization, especially via cross-sell/upsell.
• Nice to have: pricing on live transactional surfaces and whitelabel ecommerce awareness.

Responsibilities

• Own the traveler experience, conversion, margin optimizations, and revenue.
• Develop a modular checkout system that other teams can easily build into and evolve gracefully.
• Drive FX markup and traveler upsell monetization to grow revenue.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Payments PMs and the Head of Payment Products & Monetization.
