SBM Offshore N.V. seeks an experienced Senior Planning Engineer to develop, maintain, and optimize project schedules across the full asset lifecycle.

You will collaborate with engineering, procurement, and construction teams to align timelines and resources, and lead planning efforts to ensure on‑time delivery. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 5+ years of规划 experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

• 5+ years experience in project planning within oil & gas sector
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 preferred

Responsabilités

• Develop and oversee detailed project schedules using Primavera P6/MS Project
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and stakeholders to gather data and milestones
• Monitor progress, identify delays, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks
• Prepare and oversee progress reports, including schedule updates and earned value analyses
• Analyze project trends and provide forecasts for decision support
• Lead planning meetings and workshops for stakeholder alignment
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies
• Mentor junior Planning Engineers and support their development

Purpose

• As Senior Planning Engineer, you are responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing project schedules to ensure timely and efficient project execution. This involves collaboration with various departments, including engineering, procurement, and construction, to align project timelines and resources.

Responsibilities

• You develop and oversee detailed project schedules using project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).
• You coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to gather necessary project data and milestones.
• You monitor and oversee project progress, identify potential delays, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• You prepare and oversee regular progress reports, including schedule updates, earned value analysis, and performance metrics.
• You analyze project trends and provide forecasts to support decision‑making.
• You lead planning meetings and workshops to ensure stakeholder alignment.
• You ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and company policies.
• You mentor more junior Planning Engineers and support their development

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.

Experience

• · 5+ years experience in project planning within the oil and gas sector.
• · Proficiency in project management software (Primavera P6 preferred).
