SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking a seasoned Project Contract Manager to lead contract management across major projects in our global energy programs.

You will ensure contract compliance, risk mitigation and commercial optimisation from bid through project execution. With 15+ years in contract management (including Claims, EPCI and subcontracting) and a degree or MBA in Business, Law or Engineering, you will shape contracting strategies, drive performance, and maintain auditability across the project

Qualifications

• Alliance and contract management across large multi-discipline projects.
• Ability to identify contractual risk and drive mitigation strategies.
• Experience with EPCI, subcontracts, and commercial negotiations.

Purpose

• The Project Contract Manager provides Contract Management support for major projects or unit execution across Supply Chain, Client focus and Subcontracting to ensure a contractually compliant and a commercially optimised contract. You ensure the mitigation of risk and maximisation of opportunity.

Responsibilities

• You manage Main Contracts.
• You manage and expedite contract deliverables and requirements.
• You support and coordinate the development of contracting strategies, including Sub-contracts & Supply Chain.
• You monitor performance and compliance with contractual requirements and signatory powers, expedite disciplines where necessary, and highlight potential areas of concern.
• You ensure commercial and contractual awareness across the Project Team throughout the life of the project.
• You achieve and maintain total auditability of all commercial and contractual dealings, including clear record keeping and regular commercial reporting.
• You participate in and provide input to Risk and Opportunities management.
• You provide Contract Feedback during the life of the project.
• You ensure Guarantee period management.

Education

• Degree or MBA in one of the following disciplines (Business Management, Law, Construction Law, Engineering or Quantity Surveying).

Experience

• 15+ years of experience covering all aspects contract management including Claims, EPCI, subcontract management.
• Broad experience in sales and lease contracts, in executing contract negotiation.
• Experience of project execution interface.
