Job summary

Foleon is expanding the team and looking for a back-end developer who can strengthen our mature SaaS platform. You’ll design, build, test, and maintain back-end services with PHP, primarily using Laravel, and collaborate with front-end, product, and QA to deliver reliable, customer-facing features.

You’ll contribute to architecture modernization, work with Doctrine and relational databases, write automated tests with PHPUnit, participate in code reviews and CI/CD, and help operate and scale

Qualifications

• 8+ years of professional back-end development experience.
• Strong PHP experience and Laravel framework.
• Doctrine, relational DB modelling and query optimization.
• Automated testing with PHPUnit and CI/CD workflows.
• RESTful APIs, authentication, validation and integration patterns.
• Cloud-native delivery, containers, observability and production operations.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain back-end functionality across the platform.
• Work with PHP and Node-based systems and modernize architecture.
• Participate in code reviews, planning, troubleshooting, and production support.
