Job summary

Qplox engineering is seeking a senior OS/Middleware Architect to define the next generation of middleware architecture for HarmonyOS and to enable consistent, high-performance experiences across smartphones, PCs and other devices. You will drive the architecture, technical roadmap and evolution of the middleware layer, focusing on cross-platform compatibility and scalable system integration.

The role requires strong hands-on experience with operating systems or middleware, deep OS architecture

Qualifications

Proven experience with operating systems, system frameworks or middleware.
Deep understanding of OS architecture and implementation.
Strong technical leadership and cross-team influence.

Responsibilities

Define the technical vision and long-term roadmap for HarmonyOS middleware architecture.
Design unified middleware solutions enabling multi-ecosystem coexistence and scalability.
Drive breakthroughs in memory management, startup performance, system stability and compatibility.
Establish architecture standards, engineering practices, automated testing, and quality frameworks.
Evaluate emerging OS and middleware technologies for the next 2–3 years.
Collaborate with engineering and product teams to translate direction into real products and cross-device experiences.
