Job summary

Van Lanschot Kempen in Amsterdam is seeking an Operations Lead Expert Private Markets to shape an integrated operating model across investments, operations and technology. You will act as a central link between internal teams, clients and external stakeholders to professionalise and scale private markets activities.

The role emphasizes change management, vendor and data management, collaboration with IT, and exploring automation and AI to boost efficiency and data quality.

Qualifications

• Deep domain knowledge in private markets.
• 15+ years of experience in finance, ideally in organisational change, project management or consulting.
• Completed college or university education, preferably in a financial discipline.
• Confident in evaluating and adopting new AI tools relevant to your field.
• Good mastery of English; Dutch language skills are a strong plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop a vision for an integrated illiquid operating model for our institutional business and Private Bank.
• Manage and evaluate vendors, software and data management across deal flow, portfolio management, investment administration and quarterly reporting.
• Work closely with IT to identify technology challenges, opportunities and priorities for private markets.
• Improve current ways of working and help shape a scalable and effective private markets organization.
• Explore and steer automation, including AI where relevant, to enhance efficiency and data quality.
