Job summary

Empiric is seeking a senior OpenShift specialist to join a large-scale infrastructure modernization programme, working across multiple production Red Hat OpenShift clusters. You will own automation and lifecycle management, build pipelines with Ansible, scripting and API integrations, drive GitOps and IaC practices, and improve platform security, scalability and availability across the enterprise.

Qualifications

Strong senior-level Red Hat OpenShift experience.
5-7+ years across Linux, DevOps, automation and container platforms.
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, RHEL and Ansible.
Experience managing multiple large production clusters.
Strong Git, CI/CD, GitOps and IaC experience.
Terraform and OpenShift enterprise tooling are advantageous.

Responsibilities

Manage and optimise large enterprise OpenShift environments.
Automate provisioning, upgrades, patching and lifecycle management.
Build automation using Ansible, scripting and API integrations.
Drive GitOps / CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code practices.
Improve platform security, scalability, availability and standardisation.
Troubleshoot complex platform issues and perform root-cause analysis.
Integrate OpenShift with networking, storage, IAM, monitoring and security services.
