Job summary

Sprint and Partners is seeking an engineer to own the performance, scalability, reliability and evolution of large-scale analytical infrastructure in Europe. You’ll work on OLAP platforms built with ClickHouse, Apache Druid and Apache Pinot, focusing on production readiness and long-term evolution rather than traditional data pipelines.

Ideal candidates have deep experience in distributed analytical databases, data partitioning and indexing, and cluster tuning.

Qualifications

• Requires deep experience operating analytical database technologies in production.
• Experience with large-scale OLAP platforms and real-time analytics recommended.
• Familiarity with ClickHouse, Druid and Pinot preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and operate large-scale OLAP platforms using ClickHouse, Druid and Pinot.
• Improve query performance for petabyte-scale workloads.
• Develop efficient storage layouts, partitioning and indexing strategies.
