Job summary

Vattenfall is seeking an experienced Senior Foundation Installation Engineer for offshore wind projects. You will provide installation engineering expertise, support the Installation Manager, and drive technical excellence across projects in Northern Europe.

The role emphasizes leadership in engineering tasks, risk management, and collaboration with Operations, U&M, and the Technical Authority community. Hybrid work location options include Hamburg, Kolding, or Amsterdam.

Qualifications

Degree in an Engineering discipline.
Minimum 10 years of project engineering experience in offshore foundation installation.
Knowledge of offshore installation equipment and systems.
Strong commercial and project management mindset.
Ability to lead installation engineering topics balancing technical, commercial and consenting imperatives.
Knowledge of the wind energy market.
Experience in installation of offshore transmission systems is an asset.
Strong stakeholder management and interpersonal skills across diverse teams.

Responsibilities

Provide offshore turbine foundation installation engineering expertise to offshore wind development projects.
Support the Installation Manager in delivering the foundation installation package.
Handle project-specific engineering tasks to identify and mitigate risks.
Provide engineering support for operations and maintenance campaigns.
Contribute to the development of engineering competences within the team.
