Job summary

Oceanwide is seeking a hands-on Well Engineer to support a large offshore decommissioning campaign in the Netherlands. You will contribute across the project lifecycle from concept design to execution, ensuring safety, regulatory compliance and operational excellence.

Required: Bachelor in Engineering, IWCF Level 4+ Well Control, and at least 5 years of well engineering or related offshore experience. The role includes an on-site duty rota and close collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• IWCF Level 4+ Well Control certification or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years in well engineering, drilling, workover, intervention, or decommissioning.
• Combination of office-based engineering and field exposure.

Responsibilities

• Develop well abandonment and decommissioning designs.
• Prepare detailed operational procedures and execution programs.
• Support HSE and risk management documentation.
• Conduct well barrier assessments and integrity reviews.
• Participate in readiness reviews and planning workshops.
• Review historical well data and incorporate findings into designs.
