Job summary

SBM Offshore N.V. is seeking a Senior Engineer to design and engineer solutions that meet high safety, reliability, and sustainability standards. You will contribute to projects and the organization’s strategic objectives and long-term success.

Responsibilities include selecting methods, planning work within budget, and ensuring interfaces and contractual compliance. You may lead teams, coordinate with vendors, and act as Discipline Lead for your scope.

Qualifications

• 5 to 10 years of Oil & Gas experience.
• Engineer Diploma in relevant discipline.

Responsibilities

• Select methods and procedures and optimize design per specs and codes.
• Plan and complete activities and deliverables within time and budget.
• Ensure scope of work aligns with contractual and SBM requirements.
• Apply lessons learned and assess change effects across boundaries.
• Coordinate with vendors, subcontractors and third parties per contract.
• Possibly serve as Package Engineer for design, procurement and manufacture.
• Lead engineers on assigned scope of work.
• May act as Discipline Lead for assigned scope.
