Job summary

Bennet & Boss B.V. seeks a Senior Pipe Support Designer to develop safe, reliable pipe support solutions for offshore and floating production projects. You will translate requirements, perform calculations, and ensure constructability and schedule adherence across FEED, detailed design and construction.

The role requires 6+ years in pipe support or structural design, offshore experience, and proficiency with E3D/Navisworks. Leadership and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 6 years of experience in pipe support design or structural engineering.
• Experience in offshore, oil & gas, energy or floating production sectors.
• Strong knowledge of piping systems, pipe supports, and offshore design standards.
• Experience with FEED, detailed design and construction support phases.
• Proficiency with E3D and Navisworks for design coordination.
• Ability to perform structural calculations for pipe supports.
• Understand constructability, safety, design quality and interfaces.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, vendors and construction stakeholders.
• Able to deliver accurate designs within schedule and project requirements.
• Strong communication and practical issue-resolution skills.
• FPSO or floating production experience preferred.
• Leadership or mentoring ability is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and design pipe support systems per project specs, offshore standards and regulations.
• Translate piping, structural and project requirements into practical designs.
• Perform structural calculations to ensure integrity and safety.
• Prepare, check and update design deliverables across FEED, detailed design and construction.
• Collaborate with E3D and Navisworks to develop and coordinate designs.
• Coordinate with Piping, Structural, Stress, Layout, Construction and other disciplines.
• Resolve design issues and interface challenges with engineers, vendors and stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance to junior designers; act as Lead Designer when required.
