Job summary

A leading global engineering firm in Zeeland, Vlissingen seeks an ME Technician to perform maintenance on Mission Equipment (ME) in a dynamic environment. Candidates should have strong hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems, alongside a technical diploma in a relevant field. Responsibilities include diagnosing technical issues, supervising subcontractors, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Applicants must also be fluent in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with mechanical, hydraulic and/or electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, manuals and maintenance procedures.
• Experience with heavy equipment or complex maritime/offshore installations is a strong advantage.
• Knowledge of preventive maintenance systems and asset management tools.
• Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on Mission Equipment (ME) between projects.
• Diagnose technical issues and carry out necessary repairs.
• Supervise subcontractors performing maintenance activities.
• Prepare mission equipment for upcoming offshore projects.
• Ensure all ME complies with safety, technical and operational standards.
