Job summary

NuScale Power, LLC is seeking a Nuclear Contract Manager 3 to oversee procurement and contract management across the lifecycle of engineering, design, fabrication, testing, and construction contracts. The role includes planning, bidder prequalification, bid package development, negotiations, administration, and closeout.

The position supports remote work within the contiguous United States; otherwise, in-office 4 days/week with occasional travel for business needs.

Qualifications

• Education: B.S./B.A. in a related field; Master’s and/or CPP preferred; 4 additional years of applicable experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• Experience: Minimum 5 years in nuclear contract management.
• Industry Requirements: Eligible to work under DOE 10 CFR Part 810.

Responsibilities

• Drafts, evaluates, negotiates, and executes contracts including NDAs, Subcontracts, MSAs and POs.
• Acts as single point of contact on contractual matters.
• Provides redlined recommendations and negotiates with suppliers' attorneys.
• Maintains contractual records and documentation for all contracts.
• Provides guidance on contract matters to project managers and other staff.
• Monitors terms and contracting practices and suggests changes.
• Produces and manages RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
• Coordinates with legal and Finance to minimize risk.
• Ensures contract closeout, extension, or renewal.
