Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Vision Groningen is seeking a Project Manager for New Product Introduction of intraocular lenses (IOL). You will lead end-to-end NPI projects, coordinating global teams across R&D, Regulatory, Quality, and Supply Chain to deliver complex medical device programs.

The role requires 5–10 years’ PM experience in regulated environments, strong Design Control and Risk Management knowledge, and on-site work in Groningen with some international travel. English fluency is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a technical discipline.
• 5–10 years’ regulated environment project management experience.
• Experience leading global, virtual project teams.
• Knowledge of Design Control and Risk Management principles.
• Familiarity with GMP, QSR and ISO 13485.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end NPI projects for intraocular lenses and manage plans, schedules, budgets.
• Lead virtual cross-functional teams across multiple time zones.
• Ensure Design Control, Risk Management and Change Management compliance.
• Oversee project documentation throughout development lifecycle.
• Ensure GMP/QSR/ISO 13485 compliance and regulatory support.
• Maintain communication with global stakeholders in the EU, US and APAC.
• Facilitate governance and decision-making within a matrix organization.
