Job summary

Tether in the Netherlands is seeking a Node.js Software Engineer to build and maintain our P2P stack and ecosystem of modular npm modules, enabling fast, secure digital finance services.

You will contribute to production-scale Node.js apps, write clean, testable code, and collaborate with a globally distributed team to push OSS-friendly technology forward.

Experience with distributed systems and networking concepts is preferred; remote work is supported.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in Node.js development with production-scale applications.
• Write modular, maintainable code and structure.
• Experience creating and managing reusable npm modules.
• Strong testing and debugging skills.
• Familiarity with P2P technologies or distributed systems.
• Comfort collaborating with a globally distributed team.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain our P2P stack and expand the ecosystem of 1500+ public npm modules and a modular codebase.
