Job summary

Van Lanschot Kempen in Amsterdam seeks a Senior .NET Developer to help build future digital solutions within the Private Clients domain. The Nexus team develops an Operational Data Store, centralizing data from multiple sources and standardizing it for use across applications.

Although a Senior role, the focus is on backend development and shaping the platform's future in a lean, autonomous team. You will collaborate with stakeholders and architects to deliver scalable data-driven solutions.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of C# .NET development experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience building integrations between systems and applications.
• Experience with Azure-based solutions.
• Affinity with data modeling and complex data structures.
• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain services and applications on top of the Operational Data Store.
• Develop backend functionality and integrations with C# .NET and Azure SQL.
• Contribute to migrating functionality from existing APIs to the new data layer where appropriate.
• Integrate and standardize data from multiple source systems.
• Contribute to further development of the data model and platform architecture.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects and development teams to understand requirements and identify improvement opportunities.
• Explore complex data and application landscapes and propose solutions balancing business and technical needs.
• Take ownership from analysis to implementation.

Als Senior .NET Developer in het Nexus-team help je de basis bouwen voor toekomstige digitale oplossingen binnen onze Private Clients-activiteiten.

Het Nexus-team is verantwoordelijk voor het ontwikkelen van een Operational Data Store (ODS): een centraal dataplatfom dat informatie uit meerdere bronsystemen samenbrengt, standaardiseert en beschikbaar maakt voor applicaties binnen de hele organisatie. Door een consistente en betrouwbare datalaag te creëren, stellen we ontwikkelteams in staat om beter gebruik te maken van data. Hoewel dit een Senior .NET Developer rol is, ligt de focus vooral op backend-ontwikkeling.

Dit is een zeer autonome rol in een lean team. Je bouwt niet alleen oplossingen, maar helpt ook mee aan het vormgeven van de toekomst van het platform. Je werkt in een complexe omgeving waar bedrijfsprocessen, applicaties en datamodellen samenkomen.

Je verantwoordelijkheden

• Ontwerpen, bouwen en onderhouden van services en applicaties bovenop de Operational Data Store
• Ontwikkelen van backendfunctionaliteit en integraties met C# .NET en Azure SQL
• Meewerken aan het migreren van functionaliteit van bestaande API’s naar de nieuwe datalaag waar dat passend is
• Integreren en standaardiseren van data uit meerdere bronsystemen
• Bijdragen aan de verdere ontwikkeling van het datamodel en de platformarchitectuur
• Intensief samenwerken met business stakeholders, architecten en developmentteams om requirements te begrijpen en verbeterkansen te identificeren
• Onderzoeken van complexe data- en applicatielandschappen en oplossingen voorstellen die zowel business- als technische behoeften in balans brengen
• Eigenaarschap nemen van analyse tot en met implementatie
