Job summary

Van Lanschot Kempen is looking for a Senior .NET Developer to help build a scalable data foundation for Private Clients. The role focuses on backend development within the Nexus Team and involves working with an Operational Data Store that unifies data from multiple sources.

You will shape the data platform, engage with stakeholders, and drive architectural decisions in a lean Scrum team. A strong emphasis on ownership and proactive problem solving is expected.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience with C# .NET development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Experience building integrations between systems.
• Experience working with Azure-based solutions.
• Affinity for data modelling and complex data structures.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration with stakeholders.
• Experience working in Agile teams.

Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain services and applications on top of the Operational Data Store.
• Develop backend functionality and integrations using C# .NET and Azure SQL.
• Help migrate functionality from existing APIs to the new data layer where appropriate.
• Integrate and standardise data from multiple source systems.
• Contribute to the evolution of the data model and platform architecture.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, architects and development teams to understand requirements.
