Job summary

AkzoNobel’s Global Color IT team seeks a Senior Software Engineer to own applications and features from design through delivery and production support. You will translate business needs into reliable software solutions and troubleshoot complex issues with a focus on modernizing applications while balancing business, debt, and continuity.

You will work with Angular, .NET, Azure cloud services, and Docker in a collaborative, hybrid environment, partnering with product owners and technology teams

Qualifications

• Extensive experience building cloud-based software using C#, .NET and Web APIs.
• Experience with Angular, TypeScript and RxJS for front-end.
• Proven Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps CI/CD experience.
• Experience with microservices architecture and Dapr.
• Proficiency in SQL and Entity Framework; performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Own applications and features from design through delivery and production support.
• Translate business needs into reliable, maintainable software solutions.
• Troubleshoot complex issues and identify root causes.
• Modernize applications while balancing business needs, technical debt, and continuity.
