Job summary

ProfiNRG, based in Utrecht, is seeking a Senior Grid Connection Engineer MV/HV to design, engineer and realise MV/HV grid connections for solar and BESS projects. You will translate customer and grid-operator requirements into safe, technically strong solutions and work across engineering, project management, and sales teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
At least 3 years of direct MV/HV grid connection engineering experience.
Strong knowledge of electrical power systems, substations, switchgear and grid interfaces.

Responsibilities

Develop and review MV/HV grid connection designs.
Prepare and review SLDs and protection philosophies.
Advise project teams on technical solutions, risks, and cost efficiency.
Coordinate interfaces with DSOs/TSOs and suppliers.
Support tender documentation and procurement activities.
