Job summary

Rabobank is seeking a Senior Mendix Platform Engineer to build and enhance the Mendix platform powering Rabobank applications. You will create reusable modules, automate pipelines, and bridge low-code with enterprise infrastructure to scale across dozens of apps.

You will collaborate with app teams, troubleshoot complex issues, and drive improvements in platform standards and developer experience. This hybrid role is based in the Netherlands, with Utrecht as a key meeting point, and includes a

Qualifications

• Academic university-level IT education with relevant certifications.
• Strong oral communication in Dutch & English; team language is English.
• Strong writing and documentation skills to create clear, reusable technical guidance.
• Ability to present ideas clearly to different audiences.
• Collaborative, proactive, solution-oriented mindset.

Responsibilities

• Enable Mendix development teams by building, maintaining, and improving reusable modules, integrations, and platform services used across many applications.
• Bridge low code development with enterprise infrastructure by developing pipelines, custom code, and automation in Mendix and Azure DevOps environments.
• Collaborate and communicate with product teams to analyse issues, improve platform capabilities, and ensure scalable, high-quality solutions.
