Job summary

1UP Training is seeking a Senior Mendix Developer (L2/L3 Certified) to join a DevOps squad in Utrecht with hybrid working arrangements. You will translate requirements into Mendix solutions, design and document models, and build API integrations while ensuring security and compliance.

Qualifications

• Mendix Certified L2 Advanced or L3 Expert.
• At least five years of Mendix development experience.
• Experience designing solutions, modelling and documenting them, and building API integrations.
• Experience coaching developers and establishing coding standards.
• Experience with software lifecycle management, vulnerability management and Agile/Scrum.
• Fluency in English and Dutch.
• A proactive, communicative approach and the ability to find relevant information in a complex organisation.
• Ability to collaborate, analyse problems and deliver results.
• Passion for and affinity with IT, with strong communication and persuasive skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop Mendix solutions and contribute to solution designs.
• Model and document your solutions, and build API integrations.
• Coach junior and medior developers and set and uphold high coding standards.
• Contribute to software lifecycle management and vulnerability management.
• Suggest improvements to how your squad works and help resolve impediments.
• Assess and challenge proposed requirements, offering your own solutions where appropriate.
• Work with users and team members to handle production incidents.
• Contribute to the squad roadmap with the product owner and other squad members.
• Support your team across different tasks and collaborate with other Mendix teams.
