Job summary

Capgemini is seeking a Medior Mendix Consultant in Utrecht to design, develop and optimize Mendix applications for enterprise-scale needs. You will translate business challenges into scalable Low-Code solutions, collaborating with architecture, integration, cloud, AI, security, and data specialists.

You will contribute to Agile/Scrum/DevOps teams, mentor juniors, and grow a second area of expertise alongside Mendix, such as UI/UX or integrations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Mendix development experience.
• IT-related degree or software engineering background.
• Experience with Mendix platform development: domain modelling, microflows, nanoflows, security, integrations, data management and performance.
• Consultancy skills with ability to translate business challenges into technical solutions.
• Willingness to learn, support junior colleagues and grow beyond Mendix.
• Strong Dutch language skills required for Dutch-speaking clients.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Mendix applications delivering value for clients, from small processes to large business-critical apps.
• Translate business challenges into impactful Low-Code solutions with clients and project teams.
• Work with domain modelling, microflows, nanoflows, security, integrations, data management and performance on the Mendix platform.
• Apply AI capabilities and modern development practices within Mendix solutions.
• Learn on the job, take on more ownership in Agile/Scrum/DevOps teams and mentor junior colleagues.
• Develop a second area of expertise alongside Mendix (e.g., UI/UX, integrations, high-code, security, or performance).
