Job summary

SiTime Corp. is seeking a Sr. MEMS Development Engineer to design MEMS devices and advance MEMS technology for next‑gen timing products. You will work on characterizing performance, expanding automation, and performing failure analysis in a collaborative, fast‑paced environment.

The role emphasizes cross‑functional teamwork with circuits, systems, and packaging, and offers a compensation package with equity grants and quarterly bonuses tied to innovation goals.

Qualifications

• MS in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or Physics; PhD preferred.
• 1+ years of industry experience preferred.
• Ability to design, conduct, and analyze experiments.
• Excellent knowledge of mechanics, electrodynamics, thermodynamics, MEMS basics.
• Proficiency in MATLAB or Python; measurement automation preferred.
• Finite Element Simulation experience preferred; PCB design exposure.

Responsibilities

• Design MEMS devices and characterize electrical, mechanical, and thermal performance.
• Extend and enhance automated infrastructure for MEMS characterization and design.
• Perform Failure Analysis on SiTime products.
• Design, run, and analyze experiments to understand device physics, materials, and fabrication.
• Interface with local and overseas vendors.
• Collaborate with Circuits, Systems, and Packaging teams.
• Drive and/or support projects and company goals.
