Job summary

SiTime Corp. seeks a Director of MEMS Engineering to own and drive MEMS development for next‑gen precision timing products. You will lead a world‑class team, shape the engineering culture, and work with executives to define the roadmap and processes that sustain SiTime's market leadership.

You will manage cross‑functional programs, interact with partners, scale capabilities, and ensure reliable delivery through hands‑on technical leadership and strategic direction.

Qualifications

• Ph.D. in mechanical, electrical engineering or physics, or equivalent.
• 10+ years in MEMS or sensors; 15+ years preferred.
• Proven record of leading MEMS programs and teams.
• Hands-on MEMS design, fabrication, characterization, and modeling.
• Strong leadership, decision making, and communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEMS engineers to solve challenging timing problems.
• Scale the engineering team and foster innovation and execution.
• Contribute to technical roadmap with cross‑functional input.
• Advance MEMS tech, improve performance and manufacturability.
• Interface with vendors and establish beneficial partnerships.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and PM for execution.
