Job summary

Amaris Consulting is seeking a Mechanical Development Consultant to embed in a high‑tech environment, delivering robust mechatronic designs from concept through production. You will own subsystems, drive manufacturing‑friendly solutions, and co‑design with software, electronics, and dynamics teams to ensure seamless integration.

The role requires 5–10 years in mechanical product development for complex systems, with strong 3D CAD experience and thorough documentation.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
5–10 years of experience in mechanical product development for complex systems, preferably in regulated/high‑precision industries.
Proven track record in mechanical design of mechatronic assemblies and mechanisms, with 3D modelling and 2D drawings for manufacturing.

Responsibilities

Take ownership of mechanical subsystems from concept to production‑ready solutions.
Translate system requirements into robust mechanical designs for volume manufacturing.
Lead creation and maintenance of BOMs, assembly instructions, service manuals, and drawings.
Collaborate with software, electronics, dynamics, thermal, and systems engineers for full integration.
Support prototype build, integration, testing, and design validation, including design reviews.
