Talantir in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead mechanical packages on large scale data centre projects across Europe. You will own design coordination through installation, testing and commissioning on site, ensuring safety, quality and schedule compliance.

You bring a degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5+ years' experience on major construction projects, and proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit and Office.

Qualifikationen

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years experience in a Mechanical Engineer role on large-scale construction projects.
• Experience with design and build environments, installation, testing and commissioning.

Aufgaben

• Manage mechanical systems from design coordination through to commissioning and handover.
• Review drawings, specifications and submittals for buildability and compliance.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and internal teams across all project phases.
• Monitor site installation works to ensure quality, safety and programme targets are achieved.
• Support project planning, progress tracking and risk identification.
• Assist with subcontractor management including performance, manpower and scheduling.
• Ensure all mechanical activities comply with QHSE standards and project requirements.
• Prepare technical reports, documentation and progress updates for stakeholders.
• Liaise with clients and design teams to ensure expectations and technical standards are met.
• Develop and manage commissioning plans in line with overall project delivery strategy.
• Support testing, snagging, commissioning and final handover documentation.
