Job summary

Brunel is actively seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and optimize mechanical solutions for high-tech equipment within the ASML ecosystem, focusing on challenging semiconductor projects in a dedicated R&D environment.

You hold a degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics, with at least 5 years of hands-on design experience and familiarity with ASML projects. Proficiency in English is required, Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

At least a college or university degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics or a similar technical direction.
At least 5 years of work experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer.
Experience within ASML projects or within the ASML ecosystem.
Experience with high-tech product development and precision engineering.
Good command of the English language verbally and in writing; Dutch is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Developing and improving mechanical designs and solutions for high-tech equipment and modules.
Translating technical requirements into innovative solutions together with multidisciplinary teams.
Align with internal and external stakeholders to achieve project objectives and deliverables.
Contributing to technical reviews, risk analysis, troubleshooting and engineering decision-making.
Monitoring project progress and timely identification and mitigation of risks.
Ensuring that designs meet quality, performance and manufacturability requirements.
