Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years designing gas turbine or high-performance rotating machinery.
• Experience with material behavior under high-temperature and high-stress environments.
• Proficiency in precision tolerancing for rotating assemblies.
• Knowledge of rotordynamics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize gas turbine components, including mixed centrifugal and axial compressor stages, rotor shafts, and bearing systems.
• Perform stress analyses to assess structural integrity under thermal and mechanical loads.
• Define precise tolerances, fits, and clearances for manufacturability of high-speed assemblies.
• Collaborate with testing teams to validate designs and iterate improvements.
• Generate CAD models, drawings, and design reports.
