Job summary

Tecwave B.V. is seeking a Senior Electrician for Newbuild Ships to join a dedicated team at Rotterdam area shipyards. You will install and connect electrical systems on newly built vessels, read schematics, and work on PLC and power installations, in a 40-hour week.

The role requires Marine electrical experience, independent work, and a team mindset; relocation assistance and housing are provided. A valid B driver's license is required, and long-term opportunities with major clients await.

Qualifications

• College-level ability in electrical engineering.
• Extensive experience in marine electrical systems.
• Ability to work independently and structure tasks.
• Strong problem-solving and technical insight.
• Flexible, team-oriented mindset; valid Driver's license B.

Responsibilities

• Install and connect electrical systems on new vessels.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Assemble nautical equipment, PLC systems and power installations.
• Identify materials and coordinate with foreman or project manager.
• Supervise and support new colleagues within the team.
• Maintain a safe and organized working environment.
