Within our Technology Advisory capability, our primary goal is to help our clients unlock the full potential of their IT landscape to enable and transform the business. We work closely with CIOs, CTOs, and IT managers, providing strategic and tactical guidance to optimize their technology landscape. Our projects include various areas, for instance IT Strategy & Portfolio, IT Target Operating Model, Enterprise Architecture, Application Rationalization, Buy vs Built assessments or Vendor and Partner Selections. In addition, we increasingly see AI & Data becoming part of our services, and we integrate these topics holistically, for example when developing a target architecture or a target operating model.

What will you do?

As a (Senior) Manager within Technology Advisory, you will help clients navigate major IT transformations and digital advancements. You will work closely with C-level executives and IT leaders to assess current IT landscapes, define future-state architectures, create actionable roadmaps, and implement transformative IT strategies. We service clients across a wide range of sectors, such as banking, energy, public, and retail. You will guide vendor selection processes, set up architecture functions and governance structures, and identify quick wins alongside long-term improvements. With your experience, you will lead and mentor teams while ensuring that IT strategies drive business value, agility, and sustainable organizational success.

Your tasks include the following:

• Build strong, trusted relationships with clients, acting as a reliable advisor throughout their transformation journey.
• Lead clients through digital transformation initiatives including data & AI, leveraging emerging technologies and innovative solutions to drive business growth and competitive advantage.
• Manage projects, including daily client engagement, project planning, and execution, while ensuring timely delivery of high-quality deliverables.
• Manage and coach senior consultants daily, providing guidance, support and feedback on their work and professional development.
• Shape, prepare and lead workshops with clients. Prepare fact-based reports with a compelling storyline, including board-level reporting.
• Stay up to date with relevant emerging technologies, industry trends, best practices, industry standards, regulations and advancements in technology, sharing knowledge and insights with the team and clients.
• Recommend and oversee the integration of new technologies and systems to optimise the IT operating model and enhance overall business performance.
• Conduct thorough Enterprise Architecture assessments of the client’s existing IT landscape, processes and technologies. Identify gaps, inefficiencies and areas for improvement to form the basis of the target Enterprise Architecture roadmap.
• Guide our clients in their decision process on buy vs build strategies and vendor / partner selection.

Qualifications

• Completed master’s degree.
• At least 5 years of experience in IT consulting, with relevant experience in one of the following areas: IT & digital strategy, IT target operation model, enterprise architecture and/or IT & digital transformation.
• Proven track record of leading and managing teams, inspiring collaboration and achieving project success.
• In-depth understanding of IT trends, emerging technologies, industry standards, best practices and digital innovation, particularly in relation to IT strategies and architecture.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align IT strategies with broader organisational goals.
• Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex situations and recommend effective solutions.
• Exceptional communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to adapt to dynamic environments and navigate complex organisational structures.
• Expert view (e.g. Thought leadership) on architecture topics and/or tooling and relevant certifications such as TOGAF are a pre.
• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Located in the Netherlands.
