Job summary

EY is seeking a Senior Manager Digital Manufacturing & AI Enabled Operations in Amsterdam. You’ll shape strategic agendas, lead programs and deliver AI-infused solutions across sites, from pilot to scale, guiding factories of the future with IIoT, digital twins and predictive maintenance.

You’ll build value cases, win opportunities, and develop EY’s manufacturing practice while mentoring multidisciplinary teams. Hybrid work and international collaboration are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in manufacturing, high tech, utilities, energy or oil & gas.
• Master's degree in relevant field.
• Digital native with a passion for manufacturing.
• Excellent analytical capabilities; strong communication and people skills.

As Senior Manager Digital Manufacturing & AI enabled operations you will take that story to the board level, build value cases and lead programs that make digitization real across sites. From AI operating model strategies to implementing digital technologies such as IIoT, connected operations, predictive maintenance, simulation and Digital Twin, ultimately leading to the Factory of the Future and autonomous operations. Your new job | About your main responsibilities

• Shape the strategic agenda: Position digital manufacturing and asset management as strategic business priorities that address ageing assets, ROI and cost drivers, workforce shortages, supply chain volatility and safety & sustainability pressures.
• Turn ambition into results: Make sure every engagement delivers measurable impact: better working and fitting AI infused operating models, higher equipment reliability, lower maintenance costs, better operational efficiency and smarter capital allocation.
• Lead complex transformations: Lead programs that use Physical AI, Industrial IoT, digital twins, predictive maintenance, and connected operations from pilot to scale into factories of the future.
• Win and grow business: Originate, shape and close opportunities, and grow long-term relationships with industrial clients.
• Build the practice: Help develop EY's Digital Manufacturing propositions, accelerators and market position.
• Develop people: Lead, coach and grow multidisciplinary teams.

Delivery

• Assess digital and asset maturity, and set out roadmaps for connected, data-driven operations.
• Build business cases that link technology investments and operating models to uptime, maintenance spend, efficiency and capital efficiency.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing predictive maintenance, digital manufacturing, digital twin and Physical AI solutions.
• Solid understanding of IT/OT architecture, IIoT data and enterprise systems.
• Change management skills to embed new ways of working, decision processes and governance.
• Proven ability to write winning proposals, lead pursuits and present convincingly to C-level stakeholders.
• Experience working with technology alliance partners on joint offerings and go-to-market.

• Minimum of 8 years of work experience in industry or consultancy, within the field of manufacturing, high tech, utilities, energy or oil & gas.
• You are digital native and have a passion for manufacturing and enjoy driving for improvements.
• A Master's degree in the field of Industrial Engineering & Management, Business administration computer science / AI / Machine Learning or a technical/engineering discipline.
• Excellent analytical capabilities.
• Strong communication, influencing and people skills.
• Strong local and European network and proven sales and business development skills.
• Result-driven, with the ability to be pragmatic in execution of projects and conceptual thinking.
• You are open to working abroad.
