Job summary

Leiden Bio Science Park is seeking a Senior Manager, Cost Engineering/DTV to lead the IM Cost Engineering centre of excellence. You will drive strategic cost management across Supply Chain, Procurement and R&D, collaborating with category leads and cross-functional teams to deliver cost-focused value and governance of cost structures.

You will oversee design-to-value initiatives, cost benchmarks, and digital technologies for cost transparency, while mentoring CE resources and enabling global

Qualifications

• Master of Engineering / Bachelor’s in Engineering or Biological Sciences required.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt preferred.
• CPSM certification preferred.
• Minimum 15 years work experience in manufacturing with diverse technologies.
• Minimum 5 years practical should cost modelling experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the IM Cost Engineering/DTV centre of excellence and align strategic initiatives.
• Collaborate with IM Supply Chain, R&D partners and procurement to apply cost management principles.
• Develop and govern cost structures across IM SC categories.
• Serve as project lead for critical cost engineering initiatives and business transformation.
• Develop strategic plans with cross-functional teams to address cost opportunities.
