Been Management Consulting | B Corp Certified is seeking a Manager or Senior Manager to accelerate sustainability transitions for clients in energy, water and food. You will blend strategy, transformation and hands-on implementation to turn ambitions into measurable results.

You will lead project teams, coach consultants, and develop client propositions while growing Been’s impact. This role entails building strong client relationships and driving business development.

Qualifications

• Master's degree completed.
• At least 6 years as a management consultant; Senior Managers typically ~9 years.
• Expertise in strategy execution within energy, water and/or food sectors.
• In-depth knowledge of transitions to sustainable systems.
• Experience in business development and creating client propositions.
• Experience leading projects and coaching others.
• Excellent consulting and AI skills; fluent in Dutch and English.

What are we looking for?

• Professionals who combine subject matter expertise with entrepreneurship and leadership;
• A completed Master's degree (university level);
• At least 6 years of experience as a management consultant at a consulting firm; Senior Managers typically have around 9 years of professional experience;
• Expertise in strategy execution within the energy, water, and/or food sectors;
• In-depth knowledge of topics that are relevant to the transition towards sustainable systems;
• Experience in business development and creating compelling client propositions;
• Experience in leading projects and a genuine motivation to coach and develop others;
• Excellent consulting and AI skills, with strong proficiency in both Dutch and English.

As a Manager or Senior Manager you advise and support organizations that play a crucial role in the energy, water, and food transitions. You work at the intersection of strategy, transformation, and implementation, helping clients address complex challenges that contribute to future-proof systems. You are responsible for the successful delivery of projects and programs, from translating client needs into proposals to achieving impactful results. You lead project teams and support consultants in their professional development. In addition, you identify business opportunities, engage in commercial discussions, and turn opportunities into new projects. You build and strengthen client relationships, share your expertise, and help further develop our propositions to enhance our thought leadership. As a Manager or Senior Manager you contribute to the development of Been and, above all, to your own growth as both a professional and a person.
