Signify Technology is seeking a Senior Linux Systems Engineer to own the Linux foundation for industrial systems. You will develop and maintain Linux-based control software, build custom images, and drive security, reliability, and scalable software updates across SaaS platforms.

You will collaborate with firmware, robotics, software, and product teams, providing mentorship and technical guidance while leading Linux and Docker-based deployments in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science/engineering or related field.
• 4+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proven ability to develop simple solutions for complex challenges.

Responsibilities

• Own the build, customization, and update pipeline for Linux system images deployed to field devices.
• Design, develop, and maintain Linux-based software platforms for industrial apps.
• Strengthen platform security through patch management and secure update delivery.
