Job summary

Adyen is seeking an experienced infrastructure and SRE professional to design, maintain, and automate critical systems including load balancers, DNS, proxies, and related services. You will work with a team of engineers to deliver scalable and reliable infrastructure that aligns with Adyen’s objectives.

You will mentor teammates, lead complex projects, and collaborate with Platform Engineering to ensure robust, observable systems.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant work experience in infrastructure/SRE.
• Experience managing DNS in complex environments.
• Proficient in Linux with strong troubleshooting skills.
• Understanding of distributed systems and large-scale deployments.
• Ability to plan and deliver complex projects with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Maintain critical on-prem infrastructure powered by open source.
• Optimize load balancing infrastructure for high availability during traffic spikes.
• Automate time-consuming tasks into one-click operations.
• Collaborate with product managers and developers to translate features into scalable infrastructure.
• Work cross-functionally with SRE and Platform Engineering teams.
• Participate in architectural discussions aligning infrastructure with business goals.
• Maintain DNS and other critical services and drive platform innovation.
