Kyndryl is seeking a Linux infrastructure specialist to build, secure and maintain enterprise Linux environments. You will manage RHEL and other distros, automate deployments, and implement RBAC and IaC practices across complex systems.

You will support security hardening, patch management, and lifecycle upgrades while collaborating with IT infra teams. The role emphasizes automation, monitoring, and ongoing improvements in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• HBO level education in ICT or similar field.
• Min 3 years in Linux/infrastructure management.
• RHCSA and RHCE certifications.
• Experience with RHEL and other Linux distros.
• Experience with Linux patch management and lifecycle.
• Scripting and automation with Bash, Python, Ansible.
• Knowledge of ITIL 4 and incident/change management.
• Experience with Red Hat Satellite/Insights and IaC tools.

Responsabilités

• Create, monitor, and harden Linux infrastructure and apps to be stable and secure.
• Manage Linux systems including RHEL/Ubuntu and platform provisioning.
• Support automation projects: VM deployment, IaC, RBAC implementations.
• Assist users with incidents, vulnerabilities and security risks on Linux.
• Handle changes and issues, delivering structural remediation.
• Monitor performance, capacity, availability and stability of Linux infra.
• Manage configuration, logging, monitoring, networking, and security for Linux.
• Deepen knowledge of architecture and security of the Linux platform.
• Provide occasional support to IT infra teams for complex questions.
• Own Life Cycle Management and timely replacement/migration of Linux systems.
• Oversee patch management, test and apply security and routine updates.
• Execute OS version upgrades and migrations; drive further automation.
• Contribute to standardization and governability of Linux infrastructure.
